Small business owner since the age of 24, Neil Bourke has continued to learn and enjoys sharing that knowledge, helping others to grow. It has just been something Neil has done.
Neil started with a hairdressing salon, then a few salons, this morphed into 20 years in Real Estate. At first operating under a multinational franchise and then as an independent operator in the Lower Blue Mountains, just out of Sydney, his business flourished.
Opting for a sea change in 2000, Neil and his wife Suezanne sold the real estate office. After much research with all sorts of brokers they decided on a beach cabin complex on a crown lease on the Far South Coast of NSW. Neil continued to be intrigued with the multitude of business models available in the accommodation industry and in 2007 purchased Management Rights again on the Far South Coast of NSW.
With a strong desire to assist others to get the right results for their efforts, Neil has supported hospitality industry initiatives. He has been part of the steering committee for the formation of Merimbula Visitors Information Center (MVIC) and board member on Merimbula and Sapphire Coast Promotions (M&SCP) for four years. For five years he served as an industry representative on Sapphire Coast Tourism (SCT).
